These past few years, more and more civilizations are using their holy books as a framework through which they view global issues, matters of life and death, art, culture and most important: human relationships. I am not somebody who believes religion should be banned, but in all these religious quarrels, what seems to be missing is a human scale by which actions from all sides of the spectrum (christians, muslims and jews) should be measured. A scale of humanity in the case our religious books may collide. I have tried to put together this scale, knowing it may be perceived as just a personal view. I myself believe it can be more than this, therefore I plead to all readers to copy the following text and spread its message.
"Honor be to the peaceful man,
For all war is godless
Honor be to the man who lays down his weapons,
For there is no mightier weapon than the spoken or the written word
Honor be to the man who laughs at insults to him, his family or his god,
For insult comes from the wicked who need not be feared
Honor be to the man who shields his children from sacrifice,
For the children shield our innocence in return
Honor be to the man who does not seek revenge,
For it has no end."
